Mission

Rehoboth United Methodist Church exists to build the Family of  God, by bringing people into relationship with Jesus Christ and serving our community.

Our Story

History

The Rehoboth Church Community has been meeting since 1828, after our split with the Harris Meeting House Congregation. Our community moved to a new location and officially named our community “Rehoboth” which means "there is room". After the Civil War our community moved again and in October of 1883 Rehoboth Methodist Protestant Church opened the doors of the church that we still worship in today. While our one room church has grown since our first worship, we still strive to be a place that makes room for its members and community to strengthen their faith, study God’s word, bring their troubles, and serve our community.
